Pickmere Art Group would welcome any resident interested in drawing or painting. This is a very
friendly group who meet on Monday mornings between 10.30am and 12.30pm at various venues. You are
assured of a very warm welcome.

Pickmere Photographic and Heritage Society meets on the third Thursday of the month, normally at
the Village Hall. There are two photographic contests each year for the members as well as talks
and social events. If you have an interest in photography or your local heritage get in touch

Pickmere Community Group Events
Sunday Afternoon Teas are available again at the Turton Pavilion until Sunday 29th August 2010. Enjoy your drink and homebaked cakes in a lovely setting by Pickmere lake.
4th July - Barnton Silver Band will be playing at 3pm.
1st August - Weaver Valley WI Choir will be singing at 3pm.
8th August - Mercedes Benz Cars visit on the field.
Pickmere Summer Fun Day
This is being held on Sunday 22nd August by the lakeside from 1pm.
Featured this year are the Companion Dog Show, Greenheyes Farm Roadshow with cuddly chicks and learn how to milk a cow, Giant Slide, Bouncy Castle, Face Painting, Snaggers Balloons, Children's Races, Tug of War, Tombola, Raffle, John Oliver Barbecue, Bar and Afternoon Teas.
